Registration is free and scholarships are available on a limited basis based on certain criteria. You can download the scholarship application on our website @ www.csvanw.org.
Criteria for participants receiving this training include: demonstrating knowledge, skills and a commitment to assisting victims and survivors of Domestic Violence, using culturally specific practices and to provide trainings at local community levels.
The roles and responsibilities of each participant will at a minimum:
1. Provide one (1) training annually in your region within the State of New Mexico
2. Train a minimum of twenty (20) advocates/ providers in your region
3. Submit documentation of training activities after completion of your training to the CSVANW in a timely manner.

The Scholarship will cover the following:
1.) Lodging Airport Holiday Inn Hotel for 2 nights amenities excluded
2.) Mileage @ the NM State rate (if funds are available)

Scholarship application must be received by and no later than 4:00 PM on April 11th, 2011. You will be notified if selected no later than April 12th,2011 , email or Fax as to whether or not you have been granted a scholarship. If you have any questions, please call our office at (505) 243-9199.

You may be eligible for the scholarship if you meet the following criteria:
 Participants traveling from farther distances will be given priority.
 Eligible applicants for scholarships include service providers, those in the criminal justice system or other advocacy settings and interested community members, including Native American domestic violence victims.
 Recipients of the scholarship must commit to provide training services received at this session back to your own community.
 You will also become a part of CSVANW’s pool of facilitators for upcoming trainings.
